XM

The XM format was developed in 1994 by Triton, the creators of FastTracker II.

XM extended MOD/S3M capabilities with: an advanced instrument system, multi-channel support (up to 32 channels), precise envelopes and effects.

Usage: PC games (DOS/Windows), demoscene, independent music production of the 1990s.
