MOD

The original MOD format was developed in 1987 by Karsten Obarski for the Amiga 1000.

The duo Mahoney & Kaktus from The Exceptions group significantly developed and popularized the module form within the demoscene, contributing to the standardization of compositional practices.

Usage: Amiga games, demos, later also PC (MOD players). MOD became the foundation of the entire tracker format family.
